Welcome To St. Francis of Assisi C.A.

We Train our young men and women to become intellectually fulfilled, open to growth, religious, loving, and committed to doing justice. St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy is a parochial school in the Diocese of Brooklyn for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school is located in the Prospect / Leffert Gardens section of Brooklyn. St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy is deeply rooted in Christian values and emphasizes the role of the family in the school community. Our school is aligned with the St. Francis of Assisi / St. Blaise Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Parish and St. Martin de Porres Parish.

The Tablet’s COVID Relief Fundraiser for Catholic Schools gives us the opportunity to offset some of the additional costs of making our schools COVID-safe for students and give our children an opportunity to earn incredible rewards, after a difficult year.
Thank you for your support and generosity.

105th Anniversary Alumni Reunion Luncheon

All alumni and friends are cordially invited to the 105th Anniversary Alumni Reunion Luncheon on Sunday, October 5, 2014. The day will begin with the celebration of the 12:30 P.M. Mass followed by a luncheon in the school auditorium. We will recognize Sister Theresa Scanlon on her retirement after 28 years as principal of SFA. Sister Theresa has truly been a blessing to our school! We truly urge all alumni to take this opportunity to thank Sister Theresa for her many years of devotion to SFA.
